This is by far my favorite picture ive ever done. My tones have been the best of any picture. Even though its not clear from the scan but i have every where from black to white and my boarders are in tact. You can almost count the water droplets. Til next year ( aka three months in sept.)

This was our motion project. I realized that i am absolutely horrible at panning and that blur is not my favorite but i really really love freeze. In freeze you're able to capture one-one-thousandth of a second. Thats like smaller than a split second. Like woah. Youre only able to get detail in your main subject becuase when the shutter is that short your aperture has to be very large and lets only a quick burst of light. Your welcome Terry Perry.... that one was for you :)

Im very proud of my portraits. I realized how much i loved shooting people. Ive always been kind of the observer. I always saw that as a bad thing but with this assignment i found out that now im able to show everyone what i see, how i see them. I like the weird angles, not straight on like some selfies. I tried to catch them in the moment. Some people didn't even know i took a picture of them until i actually did.

This is actually my favorite assignment to date. This was the first time i    had the opportunity to shoot subjects. This was the portrait assignment. The main goal, other than learning to compose portraits, is to learn about depths of field. In short, the shorter the shutter the blurrier the background and vice versa. But the best part was trying to capture the person. Their personality, their expressions. One of the hardest part though was trying to shoot inside.

These were 3 enlargements i made from my point of view assignment. These were the 3 different points of views of the caution tape at the play ground. I thought it was kind of erie and symbolic the way that the caution tape was hanging around a play ground and it was also a drizzly overcast day. I was just feelin it.

<- For this image a filter was necessary.Like i said it was a drizzly day and when you shoot upwards everything tends to silhouette causing more grey then desired.

My second contact sheet came out a lot better. Our project was all about our point of view. Also that of a bird and a worm. There was a lot of role playing and i got pretty messy  and muddy. I think it was definitely worth it in the end. Three of these pictures were actually published in our school's literary magazine.

Oh please excuse the dust and sepia-esque tones of my pictures. Lets just say i kinda grew up with my printer....
